Two People Injured, Extricated From Vehicle Following Rollover Crash On I-80

ECHO, Utah — Two people were injured after their vehicle rolled on Interstate 80 near Echo Reservoir.
The incident happened near milepost 165 around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Trooper Colton Freckleton with the Utah Highway Patrol said a pickup truck was pulling a camping trailer, heading westbound, when it suddenly lost control and rolled.
The two occupants, who were wearing seat belts, had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Freckleton said one of the occupants sustained a partial amputation, but had no life-threatening injuries.
Both occupants were flown in LifeFlight helicopters to a local hospital.
All lanes of traffic were closed for a period of time, but they have since reopened.
