Woman killed in head-on crash in Sandy

SANDY, Utah — A 28-year-old woman has died after she was involved in a head-on collision in Sandy.
The incident happened in the area of 9400 South and 1700 East around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police said one of the drivers was heading westbound when they crossed into the eastbound lanes and crashed head-on into the other car.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where the 28-year-old, who was heading eastbound, passed away.
She was identified Monday as Ashley Robinson.
The victim in last night’s fatal car crash has been identified as Ashley Robinson (28) of Sandy. The factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation.

The driver of the other car has been listed in stable condition.
