Three-car crash in South Jordan leaves one woman dead

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — One woman died and a few others were injured in a three-car crash in South Jordan.
The incident happened in the area of 845 West and South Jordan Parkway around 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
Sgt. Matt Adams with the South Jordan Police Department said one woman was transported to the hospital where she passed away from her injuries.
She was the sole occupant of her vehicle.
Some children and one other adult, according to Adams, were also transported to the hospital.
“That was sort of more as a precaution,” he said, adding that they were conscious, breathing and alert, but were experiencing some aches and pains following the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Police have not released the victim’s identity.
