Teen crashes car into St. George home; flames engulf both

ST. GEORGE, Utah — A 14-year-old crashed a car into a house in the St. George area, igniting a fire that damaged the vehicle and home.
Just before 1 a.m. Thursday morning an emergency call was made by a man reporting a car smashing into his home and that it was on fire. Nobody was injured according to Officer Tiffany Mitchell with the St George Police Department, but those living at the home were displaced by the damage.
Emergency crews arrived to find the car fully engulfed in flames that were also damaging the home, all caught on video by home cameras.
The driver, who is a minor and has not been identified, is said to have stolen the car from his sister. He was cited for driving under the influence, curfew violation, driving without a license and a traffic violation.
