Man rescued after crashing ATV on Lake Mountain

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — A 44-year-old man sustained serious injuries after authorities said he crashed his ATV on Lake Mountain and rolled 100 feet down a steep embankment.
The incident happened around 10 a.m. Sunday.
Officials with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said the 44-year-old from Eagle Mountain was riding alone when he crashed.
He suffered a broken foot and hip as a result of the crash.
Officials said a LifeLight helicopter had to hoist the victim out as he was in a “super bad spot.”
He was then transported to the hospital.
