Bicyclist dead after crash with semi-truck in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah — A 66-year-old man has died after he was involved in a crash with a semi-truck in Ogden.
Officials with the Ogden Police Department said the bicyclist was in the center turn lane near the 1400 block of Wall Avenue, traveling southbound, just before 8 p.m. Friday.
A semi-truck with a loaded trailer was in the inside lane, traveling in the same direction.
As the truck passed, police said the 66-year-old turned into the side of the vehicle, knocking him off his bicycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, according to police.
The truck driver, a 64-year-old man, was not injured in the crash.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
