WEST JORDAN, Utah — One person was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in West Jordan.
Sgt. Brian Schaaf with the West Jordan Police Department said the vehicle was heading southbound on Grizzly Way around 1:50 a.m. when it lost control and went off the road near 8100 South.
The vehicle crashed into a tree and the driver, a 22-year-old man from West Valley City, was killed.
The accident reconstruction team was then called out to investigate the scene.
Schaaf said they’re investigating speed as a possible factor since the road where the crash occurred has several curves in it.
