OGDEN, Utah — One man was killed and another was hospitalized following a shooting Tuesday night, according to officials with the Ogden Police Department.

Police responded to the area of 125 Patterson Street around 8 p.m. and found both men in front of a home with gunshot wounds.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the second victim was taken to an area hospital. Police said he was in stable condition as of Wednesday morning.

The suspect, an adult male, surrendered to police and was taken into custody without incident.

Officials have not released any names and said their investigation is ongoing.
