STANSBURY PARK, Utah — One girl was hospitalized following a fight with another girl after school at Stansbury High School last week.
Emergency medical services were contacted Thursday afternoon and determined the girl needed to be taken by helicopter to an area hospital, according to a statement from the Tooele County School District.
Chief Deputy Brian White with the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office said one girl passed out after the fight, and a helicopter landed at the school.
According to White, both girls will be referred to juvenile court once the report is complete.
“I think it seemed more than what it actually was,” White said, speaking about rumors circulating.
KSL TV reached out to the school but has not received a response.
