One killed in fatal crash near Spanish Fork Canyon

Police reported a fatal crash happened on U.S. Highway 6 near milepost 181 near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon Wednesday.

The crash involved a semi and a car and is currently blocking U.S. 6, closing traffic in both directions. According to police, the estimated closure time was 1-2 hours and people were being told to avoid the area.

Early reports show that there was one death and two other non-life threatening injuries.
