Man dead after being struck by multiple cars on I-15

WOODS CROSS, Utah — A man has died after he ran out onto Interstate 15 and was struck by several cars, including a semi-truck, in Davis County.
The incident happened in the area of Woods Cross High School just before 6:45 a.m. Sunday.
“There are no abandoned vehicles in the area and it is unknown why he was on the freeway,” read a press release from the Utah Department of Public Safety.
Northbound I-15 was closed for several hours at 2600 South so troopers could investigate.
