MIDWAY, Utah – Mild winter weather delayed the opening for the popular Ice Castles in Midway but it is now set to open this Friday, Jan 14.
Ice carvers have worked on the displays around the clock over the past two months. They carved tunnels, fountains, slides, frozen thrones, and ice towers that include LED lights. Crews also hand placed icicles around the fairytale playground.
Ice Castles is located now at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.
It’s a Utah-based company that also operates other locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and New York.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the company’s website.
