Teen suspect in deadly shooting near Hunter High School to appear in court

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — The 14-year-old accused of shooting three teens near Hunter High School will be in court Wednesday.
A detention hearing for the suspect has been scheduled for 1 p.m.
He’s accused of shooting and killing 15-year-old Paul Tahi and 14-year-old Tivani Lopati during some kind of altercation Thursday.
Community rallies around families of Hunter High teens killed, injured in shooting
Ephraim Asiata, 15, was also shot, but he survived.
He remains in the hospital Tuesday night, fighting for this life.
KSL is not releasing the name of the alleged shooter because he is a juvenile.
