Eccles Theater releases dates for rescheduled ‘Hamilton’ performances

SALT LAKE CITY — The final two weeks of “Hamilton” performances at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City have been rescheduled after they were postponed due to COVID-19 cases among the cast.

The hit Broadway musical will be reopening Tuesday, Feb. 1 through Sunday, Feb. 13.

Officials also announced a new show will be added on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for that performance will be released on the Broadway at the Eccles website beginning Wednesday, Jan. 26.

“For the rescheduled performances there is nothing for patrons to do at this time, their seats remain secure, and their original ticket will be honored for the new performance dates outlined below,” read a press release Friday from Broadway at the Eccles.

  • Thursday, Jan. 13, 7:30 pm → Thursday, Feb. 3, 7:30 pm
  • Friday, Jan. 14, 8:00 pm → Friday, Feb. 4, 8:00 pm
  • Saturday, Jan. 15, 2:00 pm → Saturday, Feb. 5, 2:00 pm
  • Saturday, Jan. 15, 8:00 pm → Saturday, Feb. 5, 8:00 pm
  • Sunday, Jan. 16, 1:00 pm → Sunday, Feb. 6, 1:00 pm
  • Sunday, Jan. 16, 7:00 pm → Sunday, Feb. 6, 7:00 pm

Officials said the Hamilton digital drawing, which makes a limited number of tickets available for every performance at $10 each, will also resume.

The drawing opens Monday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. and closes at 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 for all 16 performances in February.
