Real Housewives of SLC Jennie Nguyen no longer cast member after ‘offensive’ social media posts

SALT LAKE CITY— BRAVO TV announced they would no longer be filming with Jennie Nguyen, star of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” after what they called, “offensive social media posts” were brought to their attention.
The statement read, “Bravo has ceased filming with Jennie Nguyen and she will no longer be a case member of the ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.’ We recognize we failed to take appropriate action once her offensive social media posts were brought to our attention. Moving forward, we will work to improve our processes to ensure we make better informed and more thoughtful casting decisions.”

Nguyen had received backlash from fans over what some considered pro-police posts during the 2020 BLM movement, sharing photos and memes calling BLM protesters, “violent gangs.”

Nguyen has been on the show in Season two which is currently airing, and was formerly a business woman. She and her husband have three kids.
