Body found in Jordan River, police investigating

SALT LAKE CITY — A body was found in the Jordan River near 700 North and Redwood Road Thursday.

Officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department said crews responded to the area around 11 a.m. and an investigation is underway.

Police said they are not releasing identifying information about the person yet, declining to share information about an age or the gender.
