Two snowmobilers rescued in sub-zero temperatures

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Two overdue snowmobilers were rescued in Wasatch County early Friday morning.
Search and rescue crews said the pair, a man and woman, both in their 70s, were due back before dark but did not return.
Wasatch County Search & Rescue deployed snowmobile teams while the Utah Department of Public Safety’s helicopter was called in to help crews locate the missing parties on the southwest side of Strawberry Reservoir.
Officials said temperatures in the area dipped as low as -12 degrees.
No injuries were reported and crews said the rescue took approximately four hours in total.
