Sen. Romney tests positive for COVID-19

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Sen. Mitt Romney has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement from his office.
The announcement was made around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
“He is currently asymptomatic and will be isolating and working remotely for the recommended period of time,” the statement read.
The statement went on to say that his wife, Ann Romney, has tested negative for the virus.
According to his office, both have been fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
