WEST JORDAN, Utah — Several arrests were made Friday after police say multiple people reported hearing shots fired in West Jordan.
The incident happened in the area of 7900 South and 3600 West just before 3:30 p.m.
Lt. James Kangas with the West Jordan Police Department said when officers arrived, they were met by a man outside his home who said approximately two to three juveniles discharged a weapon in his direction from a vehicle.
No injuries were reported, according to Kangas, but there was some property damage.
Kangas said “several arrests” were made after Metro Gangs responded to assist.
The incident appears to be gang related, according to the lieutenant.
Additional details about the incident were not immediately available.
