Cedar Hills man faces automobile homicide charges after lengthy delay

ALPINE, Utah — A Cedar Hills man, who was charged with hitting and killing a bicyclist in Alpine more than a year ago, will make his initial court appearance before judge Thomas Lowe on Feb. 2.
Kenneth Julian Eugene Sepety, whose blood alcohol level was at 0.10% when the fatal accident occurred on July 25, 2020, faces a charge of second-degree felony automobile homicide for the Timpanogos Highway incident.
Sepety did not show up for his initial court appearance on Oct. 6. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Oct. 18 and it was. recalled on Friday.
