One seriously injured in Taylorsville house fire

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Firefighters say one person was hospitalized in serious condition after a house fire in Taylorsville.
Unified Fire Authority public information officer Ryan Love said crews responded to a home near 5900 South and 3200 West Tuesday morning.
Love said one person was transported to an area hospital with second- and third-degree burns and possible smoke inhalation damages.
Love said there is fire damage to the basement and smoke damage on the main floor. The fire’s cause is currently under investigation, and crews reported the flames have been extinguished.
