Weapon found in Gunnison Valley High School restroom

GUNNISON, Utah – Administrators at Gunnison Valley High School said someone found a weapon in one of the school’s restrooms.
The school sent home a letter to parents Friday that said the weapon was apparently inadvertently left in the restroom before school started.
The letter did not give any description of the weapon.
It never posed a threat to students or faculty since it was before classes the letter said.
School officials located the owner but there was no further word on who that person was.
Gunnison police are is investigating and the school promised to take ‘appropriate actions’.
