Authorities searching for missing Navajo woman

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 38-year-old Navajo woman who was last seen on Jan. 29.
Marilyn Rose Garcia was last seen wearing black jeans, a black sweater with a fur hood, black shoes, with a pink purse with a rose design on it, according to the missing persons poster.
“She is reported to have moved to Inscription House, Arizona in November of 2021 and she is a member of the Tohono O’odham Tribe,” read a Facebook post from the Navajo Police Department.
Garcia is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Police said she also has several noticeable tattoos.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts has been asked to call the Navajo Police Department Kayenta District at 928-697-5600.
