HUNTSVILLE, Utah — A 35-year-old man has died after a skiing incident Friday afternoon at Snowbasin Resort.
Sgt. Corey Stark with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said the man was skiing with friends when he collided with something on the mountain.
Ski patrol was immediately called out to the scene. They began life-saving measures, but unfortunately, they were unable to get a response from the victim.
Stark said no one else in the group sustained injuries.
The man’s identity has not been released.
This is the third death reported on Utah’s mountains for the month of February. A Utah surgeon died earlier this month after falling from a cliff while skiing at Solitude, and a 14-year-old boy died Sunday following a collision at the Alta Ski Area.
