Police identify woman found dead in Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY — Police have released the name of the woman who was found dead in Salt Lake City Monday night.
The body of 20-year-old Destiny Chismar was located on the ground near 1715 W., 200 South, according to a press release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
“Due to the circumstances on scene, the on-scene incident commander requested detectives respond,” the release stated.
Members of the SLCPD Homicide Squad also responded to the scene, as well as the department’s Crime Lab Unit.
“Based on the investigation, there does not appear to be any danger to our community,” the release stated.
