BERYL, Utah — A 44-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Beryl.
Deputies responded to the scene around 11:05 a.m. Saturday.
Lt. Dave Mitchell with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office said the man was traveling in a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier on a dirt road when the crash occurred.
The man was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed may have been a factor, according to Mitchell, and there was no obvious reason for distractions.
He did, however, say that the radio inside the vehicle was turned up loud.
The victim was identified Saturday as 44-year-old Agustin Vazquez, a resident of Beryl.
Mitchell said his body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
