West Valley house goes up in flames

WEST VALLEY, Utah— Everyone was evacuated safely as a home was consumed by fire early Tuesday morning according to West Valley Fire Department.
West Valley Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Fox said they received a call about an electrical fire around 3:15 a.m. at 3069 S. Bass Bay. As firefighters approached they noticed heavy smoke and high flames coming from the home.
The fire was put out by 4:35 a.m. but caused about $200,000. Fox said the fire seemed to be mostly in the living room area but it still being investigated on what the cause was.
There were no reported injuries.
