West Valley home is a ‘total loss’ after fire

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah— A family is safe after West Valley Fire responded to a house fire at 1450 West 3300 South around 8:30 p.m. according to West Valley Fire Battalion Chief Jed Peters.
When crews arrived the two story home was consumed in flames reaching the roof.
West Valley Fire, United Fire Authority, Salt Lake City Fire, and South Salt Lake Fire all responded to the house fire.
Peters said the house is a “total loss,” and the cause is under investigation.
No injuries were reported. They believe both dogs got out safely as well.
