LAKE SHORE, Utah – The Utah County Fire Marshal said it had to return to the scene of a ditch fire in Lake Shore Sunday afternoon.

The fire started around 2:15 Saturday afternoon and the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said a landowner was burning ditches “when wind picked up and started nearby hay and the hay barn on fire.”
The Marshal’s office said the fire flared up again Sunday and destroyed an outbuilding and threatened many others.
Flames also encroached on farm equipment a Facebook post said.
Crews from Spanish Fork, Payson, Salem, and Mapleton were on scene Sunday.
