PROVO, Utah — Authorities say two people were taken to an area hospital after a truck crashed into a Utah Transit Authority bus Wednesday morning.
UTA officials said the crash occurred around 5 a.m. at the intersection of University Parkway and Canyon Road, just southwest of LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The UVX bus took out a gas pump at a Chevron gas station and struck a nearby empty motel.
Officials said the bus driver and the pickup truck’s driver were hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation, and police have asked the public to avoid the area.
