Worker in critical condition after 15 foot fall

PARK CITY, Utah– A construction worker is in critical condition after falling off a ladder into the pit of a basement being built in the Summit Park area.

According to Chief Bob Zanetti Park City Fire District, a call came in about 9:25 a.m. from a coworker that a worker had fallen 15 feet into the pit of the basement they were building.

Park City Fire Department responded with a heavy rescue team and used a heavy rescue hoist system to help move the patient to the ambulance.

The worker was transported to the University of Utah Hospital.
