HOLLADAY, Utah — A small tear drop trailer was parked early this morning, before it was stolen outside of St. Vincent De Paul church. And it was all caught on camera.
It was Good Friday, but a bad thing happened to Father John Norman of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Holladay.
“It’s a nice idea to think about getting it back,” Father Norman told KSL TV.
He lives a simple life – but has a trailer he uses to travel.
You can see a man driving off with it at 2 am Friday morning in video shared with KSL.
“It’s discouraging because you think people find a life of crime so easy,” Norman said. “And it’s disruptive.”
Theft happening at a holy place is bothersome – but Father Norman say’s it’s all about perspective.
“I would hope our creator is focusing on other things like world peace,” he said. “And my tiny trailer is at the bottom of that list of priorities.”
It was a darker old chevy truck with a tool kit by the back window that drove off with the trailer. A way to recognize the trailer is it’s smaller with a window by the hitch.
Anyone with information on the trailer is asked to call Unified Police.
