MAGNA, Utah — The Unified Police Department confirmed the arrest of a suspect in connection to the murder of a man in Magna last month.
Police booked Noah Ezequiel Valenzuela Sanchez, 22, on murder and firearms charges.
Last month Fernando Ruesga, 20, died at the scene of the shooting outside an apartment in the Colony Farms area, near 7250 West and 2600 South.
Ruesga and Valenzuela Sanchez reportedly argued outside the apartment on April 8.

A witness said he then heard gunshots and watched one of the men, presumably Valenzuela Sanchez, flee the scene in a silver four-door sedan.
Police found Ruesga dead in the driver’s seat of a car in the apartment complex parking lot.
Police arrested Valenzuela Sanchez last week.
