Salt Lake City police investigating after body discovered at construction site

SALT LAKE CITY — Officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department are investigating after a body was discovered at a construction site Monday morning.

SLCPD officials say detectives and crime scene technicians responded to the area of 238 West 1300 South, and there is no danger to the public.

Responding officers placed crime scene tap in an alley off 1300 South, near the construction site. Police have not identified the victim and said the death is now considered suspicious.
