Utahns won’t even have to leave the house for upcoming job fair

SALT LAKE CITY — About 100 employers signed on to offer thousands of jobs at a virtual job fair later this week.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services said full-time and part-time positions will be available.
“With Utah’s strong job growth, now is a great time for job seekers to explore their options,” said Liz Carver, Workforce Development Division director. “Whether you are looking for summer employment or to change your career, the virtual job fair is a great place to start your search.”
The fair is set for Thursday, May 5 and applicants can check out jobs in several fields including health care, construction, retail, hospitality, life sciences, transportation, government, and others.

People can log in from a computer or mobile phone.
Once online you’ll see a virtual floor plan featuring several employer booths. Click on the booth and you’ll find more information about the company and what jobs are available. You can also arrange a live chat and share a resume.
Jobs could be offered on the spot.
The fair runs from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.
