One suspect dead during an officer involved shooting in Arizona

KAYENTA, Arizona – One person is dead after hurting a woman and confronting police with a weapon on Friday in Arizona.
According to the Navajo Police Department, officers arrived to a domestic violence call around 6:28 p.m. with reports of one woman hurt at a residence.
They were able to get the woman out and flew her to a regional hospital due to her injuries.
Officers were able to contact the suspect, and they confronted officers with a weapon outside their door.
Officers responded by Tasing the suspect, but it had “minimal effect” on them, leading to the officer-involved shooting.
The suspect died on the scene after officers attempted first aid.
Police have not given an update on the victims’ status.
