LOVELOUD Festival returns after a two year hiatus

SALT LAKE CITY – The charity festival for LGBTQ+ youth is back again at the Vivint Center after two years due to the pandemic.
The LOVELOUD festival is part of the Love Loud Foundation whose main focus is to spread positivity and promote acceptance towards LGBTQ youth.
“This event is designed to ignite the vital conversation about what it means to unconditionally love, understand, accept, and support LGBTQ+ youth in our communities,” according to their press release.
The event is hosted by social media personality Kalen Allen featuring performances from Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, WILLOW, Anitta, David Archuleta, Neon Trees, and many more.
NASCAR driver Devon Rouse also spoke about his decision to come out two years ago. “This is my 23rd year racing. I had wasted too many years being in hiding,” he said.

Lt. Gov. Diedre Hendersen appeared as a replacement for Gov. Cox who was recovering from COVID-19.
“”We love you. We hear you and we see you. We care about you. You make Utah a better place,” Hendersen told the crowd.
