Iron County Sheriff’s Office provides child ID kits for families

IRON COUNTY, Utah — The Iron County Sheriff’s Office is providing child ID kits for anyone interested.
Child ID kits are a cautionary measure for parents to record basic physical characteristics and fingerprints of their children should they ever go missing.
The kits save precious time and provides officers with necessary information to bringing the child home safely.
Iron County Sheriff’s Office said the following in a social media post, “The information is in one place and that can bring peace of mind during an already stressful situation. These packets are so valuable to law enforcement and search and rescue. You can pick up the ID kit at the Sheriff’s Office window.”
