WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A 2-year-old child was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after police say they fell from a second story window in West Valley City.
The incident happened at a residential condominium near 1580 West 3860 South around 3:15 p.m.
Sgt. Gabe Bier with the West Valley City Police Department told KSL the parents reported the fall to authorities.
After several agencies responded, the child was transported by air ambulance to Primary Children’s Hospital in critical condition. The child’s condition has since been upgraded to stable.
Redwood Road was closed in both directions Wednesday afternoon to allow the medical helicopter to land, according to Bier.
