Two adults, one child struck by car after collision in South Salt Lake intersection

SALT LAKE COUNTY — Three people — two adults and a 1-year-old child — were hit by a car Monday night after two cars collided in a South Salt Lake intersection.
The incident happened at 3300 S. West Temple.

Officials with the South Salt Lake Police Department say a GMC Truck that was turning northbound struck a Volvo passenger car traveling westbound. The collision then sent the Volvo into the sidewalk.
“The Volvo struck a woman, man and her 1 yr old child standing on the side walk attempting to cross,” read a Facebook post from the agency.
Police say four people were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
3300 South was closed between Main and West Temple for several hours while crews conducted an investigation.
