Crews carry out fallen climber from Big Cottonwood Canyon

SALT UTAH COUNTY, Utah – Search and Rescue crews helped a climber who fell in Big Cottonwood Canyon Monday night.
According to Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. in the Dogwood/Ledgemere crags.
Crews said the climber fell over 20-feet after rappelling off the end of their rope.
They got the climber off the trail without issue and transported them to a hospital by ambulance.
All crews were off the mountain by 9:30 p.m.
Search and Rescue did not give the status of the climber.
