EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — Residents in Eagle Mountain have been encouraged by city officials to water their lawns twice per week due to rising temperatures.
Officials said Monday the change is in alignment with the state’s updated watering guidelines for the area.
Those living at odd-numbered addresses were told to select their watering days from Monday, Wednesday or Friday, while even-numbered addresses were encouraged to water on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
“Please remain mindful of City Code, which states that lawn watering should not take place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.,” read a Facebook post from the city.
