Sandy police searching for man accused of trying to lure kids into car

SANDY, Utah — Officers with the Sandy Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate a man accused of trying to lure two children into a car.

Police say the suspect, described as a white man, tried to lure the children into a silver Volkswagen Tiguan on two separate occasions. The first happened on June 6 while the other took place on June 9.

Both were in the area of 11000 South to 11400 South and 700 East.

Anyone with information was asked to call Sandy police at 801-799-3000.
