UPDATE: Tyler Crawford has returned home safe, according to the Pleasant Grove Police Department.
PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old man from Pleasant Grove who has been missing since about 7 p.m. Sunday.
“(Tyler Crawford) wears glasses and is deaf, uses a cochlear implant which is a ruby red in color but his battery would either be dead or will be soon,” read a Facebook post Monday afternoon from the Pleasant Grove Police Department.
Crawford also has multiple special needs diagnoses, including FASD.
Police said the 19-year-old has “taken on a cat personality,” adding that he crawls around, hisses, meows like a cat, and likes being with real cats.
“His plan was to go to Kiwanis Park (Battlecreek Falls area) then go to Provo,” continued the post.
Anyone with information about Crawford’s whereabouts has been asked to call 801-794-3970.
