10-year-old boy missing from his foster care family in Ogden

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 10-year-old boy who is missing from his foster care family in Ogden, Utah.

Omar Antone Lizarraga is believed to be with his biological mother — 29-year-old Gelacitte Olivia Lizarraga — according to the Utah Division of Children and Family Services.

Officials with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office in Idaho say Gelacitte has ties to the Pocatello area, and both mother and child are reportedly Shoshone Bannock Tribal members.

“If contact is made with Omar, detain and contact Ogden City Police at 801-395-8221 or Utah Division of Children and Family Services Case Worker Patricia Garcia at 801-875-1393,” read a Facebook post from the agency.
