ST. GEORGE, Utah – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Pizza Hut Wednesday afternoon.
According to St. George police, a man threatened Pizza Hut employees with a handgun at 1930 W Sunset Blvd around 4:45 p.m.
However, employees told police the suspect claimed he had a handgun in his waistband but didn’t see it.
By the time police arrived, the suspect had left the store.
St. George police locked down the area and asked neighboring businesses to close.
However, police couldn’t find the suspect and the lockdown was lifted.
Employees described the suspect as a white man with a medium build with curly black hair that may be thinning or balding.
The suspect was last seen wearing a gray shit with a white logo and lots of writing, dark pants, dark shoes, and a faded forest green bucket-type hat.
