Heber City police locate missing 18-year-old man with autism

UPDATE: Heber City police say Hendrix Rodriguez has been located, was evaluated by EMS and reunited with his family.
“Thanks to everyone who called, and gave tips to locate this young man,” police said.
Police officers, Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office deputies and state troopers, responded to the area to search for Rodriguez Tuesday morning.
Tips from the public led to him being located several miles from his residence on the southwest side of Deer Creek Reservoir.
Rodriguez was transported to a trailhead near Soldier Hollow where was evaluated by EMS, and returned to his family.
“The Heber City Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping to locate the male and all the agencies who assisted in this case.”

HEBER CITY, Utah — Authorities are searching for 18-year-old Hendrix Rodriguez, who has autism and may be in danger.
Heber City police said Rodriguez left his residence near the city’s Walmart Tuesday morning and has not been seen since.
He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a green Minecraft shirt and possibly a gray sweater.
Police say Rodriguez is known to like water and likes to hang around areas with water. He may be in danger, and police asked the public to keep an eye out for him.
Anyone with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts was asked to call police at 435-654-1411 or dial 911.
