“Thanks to everyone who called, and gave tips to locate this young man,” police said.

Police officers, Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office deputies and state troopers, responded to the area to search for Rodriguez Tuesday morning.

Tips from the public led to him being located several miles from his residence on the southwest side of Deer Creek Reservoir.

Rodriguez was transported to a trailhead near Soldier Hollow where was evaluated by EMS, and returned to his family.

“The Heber City Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping to locate the male and all the agencies who assisted in this case.”
