UPDATE: AMBER Alert canceled after 11-year-old girl found safe

UPDATE: Within 20 minutes of sending out the AMBER Alert, police said Annalysiah was found safe and is with law enforcement in Tooele County.

SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who was abducted Monday. Police said the “child’s life in danger!”
An AMBER Alert was issued just after 2:10 p.m. for Annalysiah Williams, who authorities say was last seen with her biological mother who does not have legal custody of her.

Police said the incident began at 11:16 a.m. when they were notified about a possible custodial child abduction near 400 North and 1100 West.
“Family members last saw Annalysiah at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday June 27, 2022 at her primary daycare,” a press release from the Salt Lake City Police Department stated.
Annalysiah is described as 5 feet 4 inches, approximately 100 pounds, with dyed auburn-reddish hair and brown eyes.
Police say she was wearing a green mickey mouse t-shirt and red pajama pants.
The suspect — identified as 31-year-old Arianna Williams — is described as 5 feet 3 inches, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
“Arianna does not have a permanent residence and has been known to go to shelters in Murray, Spanish Fork and Orem. Arianna is also known to use TRAX as her primary mode of transportation,” the release stated.
