SSL police searching for two accused of robbing bank, brandishing firearm

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — South Salt Lake police are asking the public for help in identifying two suspects officers say were involved in an aggravated bank robbery.
The incident occurred just before noon on Wednesday at the U.S. Bank located at 2714 S. 300 West.
Officers say one of the men, who was wearing red shoes, displayed a black handgun during the robbery. The second suspect was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat.
Police described both men as approximately 6 feet tall with medium builds.
The two fled the bank on foot and left the area in a blue Nissan Versa. Anyone with information on the suspects or incident as a whole was asked to call Detective Hill with the South Salt Lake Police Department at 801-412-3655.
