MIDVALE, Utah – On Monday afternoon, an RV was engulfed in flames shutting down Interstate 15.

Utah Highway Patrol told KSL-TV that the RV caught on fire going southbound on I-15 near 7400 South around 6:07 p.m.

Four lanes of traffic were shut down as fire crews extinguished the fire.

No one was injured in this fire, UHP said.

The cause is still under investigation but is believed to be a mechanical malfunction.
